- Culture shock is the process that people go through when they have to get used to a different situation.
- When you move to a new country, or to other kinds of new environments, e.g. moving house, changing jobs, starting university, etc.
- It is a long and difficult process. It involves excitement at the new situation, missing home and the old life, then becoming more critical of the old life.
