Question

Listen to Pawel describing how to make pierogi and put the stages in order.

Answer

  1. Whisk butter, sour cream, eggs and oil.
  2. Add wet ingredients to the flour.
  3. Boil potatoes in a saucepan.
  4. Let the dough stands from 15-20 minutes.
  5. Mash potatoes with cheese, salt and pepper.
  6. Cut the dough into circles and stuff each pierogi with filling.
  7. Boil pierogis in a pan of salted water.
  8. They are done when they float to the top of the water.
