Did you realise when you started attending (1) school that you were at the start of 13 years of studying? Years of parents and teachers telling you that if you (2) study hard, you will pass (3) exams and succeed in life. Of course school is not just about exams and learning subjects. (4) Every subject is important but you are also learning about life. If you make friends at school and learn to socialise, I am sure that it (5) will help relationships later in life. If you participate in extra (6) activities at school, you will also learn about music and drama or maybe discover new skills like drawing. (7) Each of us has abilities that are not necessarily in Maths, Science, History or other academic (8) subjects. It is hard to know what the future (9) will bring and you often don't know what you are going (10) to do later in life. But whatever you do later, school is the foundation and hopefully the inspiration.
