Answer

  • A: Hello. Do you think you could help me? I have a complaint. I recently bought a mobile phone from your shop, but when I got it home it wouldn’t turn on.
  • B: Please accept my apology, madam. Let's see what's wrong. Did you bring the mobile with you today?
  • A: Yes, here it is and here's the receipt. Can you replace the phone today? I really need a phone for work.
  • B: I'll try my best. Let's see what's wrong. When you plugged the phone into the charger, did it make a noise or anything?
  • A: No, absolutely nothing.
  • B: Ah OK. There's probably something wrong with the charger. Let's try another one.
  • A: Oh great. It's working. Thanks a lot.
  • B: It's my pleasure, madam.
