Answer
- The characteristics that make seahorses fish are their gills, swim bladder and fins.
- Seahorses reproduce by the female putting her eggs inside the male. The male then fertilises the eggs inside his body and carries them until he gives birth to live young.
- The Knysna seahorse is an endangered species because it is only found in three estuaries in the world and, unless these are conserved, it will become extinct.
