Question
What do you think the title of the article means?
Answer
The word grind is used to mean something that is hard work, tiring and boring. People often refer to their jobs as their daily grind; to do without something is a phrasal verb which means to manage without something. It is usually in the negative (I can’t do without it) and means we can’t manage / survive without something.
