- Speaker 1 thinks it must have been amazing to be the first modern person to see Machu Picchu. It must have had more of 'a mysterious air' because it was hidden in vegetation.
- Speaker 2 thinks it must have been 'incredibly exhilarating', but that the pilot must have had a lot of doubts as well about controlling and landing the plane.
- Speaker 3 thinks that Yuri Gagarin must have had 'mixed emotions'; the thrill and excitement of space travel as well as 'absolute awe', but he must have also felt alone and probably quite scared.
