- You can boil potatoes in a saucepan, bake or roast them in the oven, or fry them in a frying pan.
- You can boil rice in a saucepan, or cook it in a frying pan with meat and vegetables, or cook it in a microwave.
- You can roast meat in the oven, fry it in a frying pan, barbecue it on a barbecue, or stew it in a saucepan.
- You can boil an egg in a saucepan, fry an egg in a frying pan, cook scrambled eggs in a frying pan or a saucepan or a microwave, or poach eggs in boiling water.
