  1. It was just big stones.
  2. It was empty and soulless; there was no white sand, but had tacky hotels.
  3. There were long queues to get in and go up. You can't see the iconic building because you're on it.
  4. It was not remote, but near the shore, run-down, and local people don't want tourists there.
  5. It is a long way from the city centre, surrounded by tourists, small, and unimpressive.
  6. It is very boring - just flat, with trees on the top of the mountain.

The only positive comment is about Machu Picchu: breathtaking location, beautiful hill behind.
