  5. a) The sun feels hot. ; b) He is feeling the jumper to see if it is soft.

In sentences 1, 2, 3, 5, the actions in sentences b are currently happening at the moment of speaking, while in sentences 4, the action in sentence b is for a future fixed arrangement. The actions in sentences a describes the people or what they think or feel.
