Read the essay which has been written in response to the task: 'Zoos are not something we need in the 21st century. Discuss.' Does the writer agree or disagree with the ideas of zoos? How do you know? Do you agree with this point of view?

The writer agrees with the idea of zoos (paragraphs 1, 2, 3 and 4 all make a strong case for zoos, especially in helping endangered species).
