Work in groups. Discuss whether you think each piece of news in Exercise 1 is good or bad. Explain your ideas.
Answer
1 and 4 are clearly negative, and 5, 7 and 9 are clearly positive, but students may have varying views about 2, 3, 6, 8 and 10.
