Question
Work in pairs. Look at the photo of a teacher and student and discuss the questions.
Answer
The photo shows a child holding a clay teapot. An adult is helping the child to make marks on the pot with a wooden tool. It is a hands-on way of teaching in which the teacher shows and guides the pupil, and the pupil learns by experiencing and trying out the new skill. It suggests patience, encouragement, guidance and supportiveness on the part of the teacher.
