- Impact on Juan → he wrote a book, became a public speaker, but fell out with Moore over money. Juan is no longer involved in the Free Hugs campaign.
- The campaign → now promoted by Moore, it has become very big, with an international Free Hugs Day and involvement in campaigns to raise awareness for various issues.
