Look at the sentences in Exercise 7 again. Then work in pairs and decide if the statements below are true (T) or false (F).

- F (some don’t end in -ly, e.g. fast, long, etc.)
- T (but rare, e.g. hard, hardly)
- F (many can go in different places in a sentence, but many also generally go in certain fixed places, e.g. hopefully generally goes at the start of a sentence or the start of a clause)
