Work in pairs. Look at the photo and discuss the questions.
Answer
- Although it may not be immediately obvious to your students, the photo shows a row of public payphones in front of a large poster. It may well be at an airport or railway or bus station.
- Work with what students say, but the most likely explanation is that the photo was taken somewhere in south-east Asia (Thailand or Burma), and the purpose is to advertise the country or region.
