- People who follow the crowd are sometimes called ‘sheep’. So, all the tourists go to the same places. The article is encouraging people to go to different places ‘off the beaten track’.
- They’re not seeing the real London. They aren’t going anywhere apart from the centre and the classic sites, and so they’re only getting a superficial view of London.
