- Mmm = uncertainty or a non-committal noise (neither yes or no) – in this case because you weren’t listening
- Umm = hesitation
- Oi! = you’ve seen someone doing something wrong

- Oops! = old fashioned / polite way to say you made a mistake or dropped something, etc.
