Professor Wycliffe makes various suggestions to help solve the problem of water pollution. These include: Keeping beaches clean from waste, such as cigarette ends and plastic bags which marine animals often mistake for food. Also, he states that animal waste and fertiliser being put in our rivers and seas is the main problem, so reducing this activity would help solve the issue of water pollution.
