One Day is a drama and romance novel written by David Nicholls. It is set in England and the story takes place on the same day every year for 20 years.
The main characters are Emma and Dexter. It’s about their friendship and the various life experiences they have from when they first meet at university until the present.
The story is interesting and original. It is sometimes funny and sometimes sad. I was gripped from the beginning right up to the shocking ending.
One Day is a great book. I really enjoyed it and the story stayed with me for a long time after I read it. I would highly recommend it.
