Illegal downloading is a problem these days. What can we do to stop it?

Firstly, we can raise awareness about the problem. Many people do not realise that what they are doing is illegal so raising awareness can make them think about their actions. As a result, fewer people would commit internet piracy.

Secondly, we can close down file sharing sites. This would prevent people from copying music and films and make it harder for people to get hold of pirate files. Consequently, illegal downloading would decrease.

Finally, we could introduce heavy penalties for copying files. Fewer people would upload files and as a result fewer people would be able to download them.

All in all, I believe internet piracy is hurting artists and should be stopped. Hopefully, if we take action, we can stop it.
