  2. Read the examples. Then rewrite the sentences as inversions.

Answer

a) Inversions are formed by changing the word order of a sentence, usually to emphasise the subject or the verb.

b)

  2. was he by the sight of the Great Pyramid that he couldn’t speak
  3. she studied history, she would have know about the Aztecs
  4. do we see Saturn and Mercury in the sky together
