Answer

"Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies," wrote Aristotle. Life may have been different in Aristotle's time, but the role of friendship has remained the same. I believe that it is important for every person to have friends in their life.

Firstly, friends can give us the courage to pursue our goals. For instance, they can help us have the confidence and self-belief to achieve our ambitions. That may we feel stronger and encouraged.

In addition, friendship reduces the risk of suffering from loneliness. For example, when people are surrounded by friends, they will always feel like they belong to a group. This means that they will have people to share their experiences with.

On the other hand, some friends may encourage reckless behavior. For example, they can use peer pressure to make you do things you shouldn’t. As a result, you could get into trouble.

All in all, I feel that friends are very important in our lives. True friends are always there when you need them.
