Answer

Ken looked in his backpack to find his camera, but it wasn’t there. It was early in the afternoon and he had arrived in Gibraltar that morning and he wanted to take some photos of the monkeys at the top of the Rock of Gibraltar. Seeing his camera was missing, he began to panic.

First, Ken searched his backpack frantically. Certainly, he had had it earlier that morning when he took some photos of the buildings. Maybe he had lost it when he was having coffee at the cosy café in the centre. Ken ran downhill to the café, but here was no sign of his camera.

Next he remembered he had taken some photos of some street vendors in the square and then he had eaten an ice cream. He ran down to the square and towards the street vendors. At that moment, the ice cream seller held up his camera. "You forgot to take it with you," he said with a pleasant smile.

Ken felt truly grateful to the man for his honesty. He was relieved to have his camera back.
