  • Argument means that people are angry and disagreeing. Discussion is a debate about something and the people are not angry.
  • Chef is a person who cooks, usually professionally. Chief is a high position in an organisation, e.g. the chief of a police.
  • Cook here is a noun (although it is also a verb) and it means a person who cooks (more frequent than chef for non-professional situations) and cooker is the machine.
  • Educated means that a person has had schooling. Polite refers to a person with good manners.
  • Now is at the moment and actually means really.
  • Plate is the object where we put the food and dish is the food itself.
  • Recipe is the instructions for cooking and receipt is a piece of paper you get when you have bought something.
  • Sensible is a person who acts logically and practically and sensitive is person who feels deeply the things that happen around him / her.
