Jane and Denise won an opera singing competition on TV, even though Denise is blind. The competition gave them the opportunity to sing Verdi's Rigoletto at the Coliseum in Rome, and it changed their lives forever. Although they are both housewives with families - Denise has three children, and Jane has four - they now get the chance to travel and see the world, singing. Their new lives have been very exciting, and they have been treated very well. They found the travelling difficult because they had to arrange childcare. They would recommend the experience to other singers, and say that if your dream is to sing, you should try to do it.
