- When it works well → When it’s a question of keeping people safe.
Democratic
- What it means → Everyone can contribute ideas or opinions and then the manager makes the final decision.
- How the speaker feels about it → Finds it motivating and likes working this way.
- A disadvantage → It can take a long time for decisions to be made.
Laissez faire
- What it means → The manager leaves the workers to make their own decisions.
- How the speaker feels about it → When workers have a lot of decisions to make every day.
- A disadvantage → It won’t work if workers haven’t had enough training.
