Find mistakes in six of the sentences and correct them.

  1. Pet rabbits usually live for approximately eight years, but a small minority live longer.
  2. Hamsters can give birth to as many as 20 offspring at a time.
  3. A large majority of domestic parrots are able to repeat human speech.
  4. Koala bears spend virtually all of their lives asleep: 18 hours a day.
  5. Horses usually die at around 20 or 25, but can live a great deal longer.
  6. Tortoises can live to well over 100 years, a great deal longer than humans.
