Work with a partner. Do you prefer to live in the town or the country? Talk about the good and bad things about each. Use the ideas in the box to help you.
Answer
- In the town: The buses and trains are frequent, so it’s easy to get around. There are more jobs. There are lots of things to do. House prices are high. Life is expensive. There is often a lot of traffic and noise.
- In the country: There is a lot of fresh air. There isn’t a lot of traffic. There aren’t a lot of jobs, so people often work in the town. The buses and trains don’t come often and don’t run late at night.
