Sadly the world is full of crime and criminals. There are everyday crimes that happen frequently, like robbery, burglary, shoplifting or pickpocketing, or more serious crimes, like blackmail, kidnapping and murder. We wouldn’t have so many TV programmes and detective stories if we hadn’t had so much crime over the centuries. Suitable punishment is even discussed in school deciding if detention is better than a suspension. Everyone likes discussing different ways of dealing with crime and debating about whether the person is guilty or innocent.
