Listen again and write down what kind of buyer each dialogue describes. Be careful: there is a dialogue which doesn’t talk about buying something.

Answer

  • Dialogue 1: A Web clicker. She buys on the Internet.
  • Dialogue 2: A deal shopper (the boy) and an impulse buyer (the girl).
  • Dialogue 3: This man does not speak about buying something but about looking for a job in sales.
  • Dialogue 4: The ‘Man on a Mission’ shopper. He spends as little time as possible buying something.
  • Dialogue 5: Loyalist. The speakers are loyal to the same shop. They buy everything there.
  • Dialogue 6: Impulse shopper. The girl saw the lamp she liked and bought it without thinking whether she could afford it.
