- D - Matt has a true passion for wild places and sea animals. He turned 20 last June and his parents gave him a wonderful pair of trekking boots as a present.
- F - Brigitte is a student in Indigenous Studies and loves travelling. Last night she packed walking boots, long cotton trousers and long-sleeved shirts, her digital camera and some insect repellent.
- H - Martin and Simon went to a sports shop yesterday to buy some new equipment for their favourite sport – shoes, helmets and ropes. Extreme weather conditions aren't good for their hobby.
- A - Lilly loves extreme landscapes and can't stand tropical temperatures. Her wardrobe is full of wind - and water - resistant jackets, gloves, scarves and warm socks. Winter is certainly the season she loves the most.
