  1. The main thing teens spend their money on is food and drinks, as mentioned in the text. Food constitutes a quarter of teens' spending.
  2. Teens go to various local shops for different items. They may buy T-shirts at street markets due to lower prices, snacks at the baker's or greengrocer's, electronic items at department stores or online, and occasionally magazines and fizzy drinks at the newsagent's.
  3. When teens buy something, the text suggests that style is the most important factor for most teens. Some also consider price, and only five percent mention the brand as important.
  4. Teen's parents are mentioned to be complaining about always buying new stuff for them. One teen expresses the desire to find a cheap but good quality store to stop their parents from complaining. The complaint seems to be related to the frequency of purchases and the cost of the items.
