Answer

  1. The husband reacts with joy and excitement upon seeing the unicorn in the garden. He goes to inform his wife about it, hoping to share the magical moment with her. However, the wife dismisses the idea of a unicorn in a rather unfriendly manner and does not show any interest.
  2. The wife, upon hearing about the unicorn, reacts with skepticism and disbelief. She dismisses her husband's claim, considering it absurd and labels him a "booby." Her response is cold and uninterested, leading her to make the decision to send him to a mental hospital.
  3. The husband, in contrast to the wife's dismissive attitude, is captivated by the presence of the unicorn. He tries to share the magical experience with his wife, but her lack of belief and negative reaction prompt him to challenge her perspective. When faced with the threat of being sent to a mental hospital, he defends himself by emphasizing the unicorn's golden horn.
  4. The end of the story is ironic and somewhat humorous. Despite the husband's attempt to prove the existence of the unicorn to the psychiatrist and police, the unicorn disappears from the garden by the time they arrive. The husband, who was initially enjoying the presence of the mythical creature, ends up alone and content, while the wife is sent away to an institution. The moral of the story suggests that life may not always unfold as planned, and unexpected events can change the course of one's expectations.
