It was her birthday, and she had been eagerly anticipating this day for months. As she stepped outside, her breath crystallized in the frigid air, but her heart was warm with anticipation. She knew her friends would be waiting at the ice-skating rink, ready to celebrate with her. Bundled up in her thickest coat and woolliest scarf, Sarah ventured into the winter wonderland, ready for a day filled with laughter and joy.
