  1. Food and eating facilities are unsatisfactory.
  2. Food quality in the canteen is poor and does not meet nutritional requirements. The canteen is dark and unwelcoming. Students need to queue.
  3. Most students go to nearby fast food shops and eat unhealthy food.
  4. School should adopt policies that regulate which foods can be served at school (fresh food available in the canteen; only low fat / sugar / salt snacks available in the shop). The canteen should be made more attractive.
  5. Students will be more likely to eat in the canteen instead of eating unhealthy food off-site. This will help them concentrate in class.
  6. They will improve students’ health and academic performance.
