Discuss why famous chefs might dislike the following things. Then read the three texts and check your ideas.

- fussy eaters – not sure how legitimate special diets really are; extra work to please customers
- hushed dining rooms – eating out is supposed to be fun and people should be able to talk to each other
- untidiness – e.g. not being able to find the salt pot – everything should have its place
