Driverless cars could travel in convoys with very little space between them and without unnecessary braking, which would mean less congestion.
Because congestion issues would be solved, less green spaces would have to be destroyed to build new motorways.
People who cannot drive, for example children and older people. Thanks to driverless cars they would be able to drive themselves to school or other appointments. Parents would have more time too, as they wouldn’t have to drive their kids to school in the morning.
