  1. Did you hear that Wilson won the tennis again? What do you think?
  2. The thing is it gets a bit boring when the same player wins every year.
  3. I agree, but nobody is good enough to beat her.
  4. That's true. At least not this year.

Conversation 2

  1. I can't see anything! Everything is white. It's impossible to ski!
  2. Shall we stop at the restaurant over there?
  3. To be honest, I'd prefer to wait here until we can see again.
  4. Are you kidding? We can't stay here - we'll freeze to death.

Conversation 3

  1. I think we should go for a run.
  2. No way! It's far too cold for running.
  3. I'm not so sure about that, but OK. Let's go to the gym instead then.
  4. To be honest I'd prefer to stay here and watch TV.
