Answer

  1. Positive: inviting just close family and a few old friends, saving money, nice party later; Negative: very expensive, too many guests, stressful, too impersonal, too much fuss
  2. Positive: big family gathering, special food, football matches and parade on TV, not commercial, very few presents or cards; Negative: too much food, lazy day
  3. Positive: build up of excitement through the day, great atmosphere, good facilities; Negative: some festivals are friendlier than others, long queues for the toilets, expensive food and drink, easy to spend too much, never enough water
