  1. People usually shake hands every time they greet each other.
  2. Act cool when you start going out with someone. Don't reply to texts immediately and if a man doesn't reply to your text after two days, it means he isn't interested.
  3. When you go out, you are expected to dress smartly and women should wear nice make-up and jewellery.
  4. When you start seeing someone, don't become friends on Facebook immediately.
  5. In Peru, it's normal to arrive about an hour late when you visit friends. If you really want people to arrive on time, you have to specify 'English time'.
  6. In Madrid it is normal to go out late - about 11 p.m. - and stay out all night.
  7. Young people tend to eat with their families. You can only go on a date with someone if you're engaged. After dinner, Khalid drives around with his friends or goes to a shopping mall to hang out.
