- Crocodiles live in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia. They are a grey-green colour and eat fish, birds, mammals and sometimes other crocodiles. The larger species of crocodiles are very dangerous to humans as they will attack them very quickly.
- Giraffes live in Africa and are herbivores. They are an orangey-brown colour with patches of brown. They can be dangerous to humans if they kick.
- Monkeys are found all over the world. There are a lot in Africa, South America, Asia and Australia and they can be a wide range of colours. Most species of monkeys are principally herbivores, but their diet ranges from fruits, leaves, flowers, insects and eggs to small reptiles. They can bite and also carry diseases which can be dangerous to humans.
- Horses are found all over the world and can be black, brown, grey and white. They are herbivores. They can be dangerous to humans as they can bite or kick.
- Elephants live in Africa and Asia. They are grey. They are herbivores and eat grass, tree leaves, flowers, wild fruits, twigs, shrubs, bamboos and bananas. Elephants can be dangerous to humans if they are mistreated and because of their size.
- Zebras live only in Africa and have a distinctive black and white striped coat. They feed mainly on grass and they can be dangerous to humans as they have very sharp teeth and hooves.
- Gazelles live in Africa and Asia and are beige in colour. They are herbivores and are not a danger to humans.
- Lions live in Africa and Asia and are carnivores - they hunt large mammals like buffalo and wildebeest. They are beigey-brown in colour. They are very dangerous to humans.
